They walk on down Virgina Street

As I watch from above

I would imagine their hearts skip a beat

When they’re that drowned in love.

Mine has never felt that depth

It’s stuck treading in the Shallow,

Should I take the plunge and hold my breath

Or be content and wallow?

They say “one day you’ll meet the one”

And “when you do you’ll know”

For when there’s clouds she’ll be your sun

So brightly she will glow!

Dawn breaks when it’s expected least

And when it does love rises from the east.
